Highlighted Projects and Activities

Bannongo School Kitchen (2021)

This project consisted of designing and remotely managing the construction of a fully functioning kitchen with plumbing, ventilation, and electrical systems for the Bannango School in rural Suphan Buri, Thailand. The project was a collaboration between engineering and social work students at UT Austin, a local NGO (New Life Church), and local contractors. The team was also entirely responsible for funding the project through grant applications and crowdfunding.

Community/Education Outreach with UCB-EERI

Currently serving as President of the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) student chapter at UC Berkeley. Our chapter organizes numerous events including academic and professional seminars, department-wide earthquake preparedeness clinics, and educational outreach events with local high schools under the SESI program where we expose students to earthquake engineering through interactive demos and presentations.
